TAKE CARE OF YOUR JEWELLERY TREASURES!

A Good “old-school” basic rule for wearing jewellery is to put them on as the last thing when leaving and the first thing when returning. Cosmetics are poison for jewellery! It accumulates on the surfaces of the jewellery.

Remove jewellery before going to shower and sauna.

Clean jewellery with mild soapy water. (except jewellery with pearls)

Store jewellery in their original boxes if possible or in sealed “mini grip” bag.

Silver has a tendency to darken. If you want to restore shine, use a polishing cloth. Polishing cloths can be purchased for jewellery shop. (avoid gemstones)

You can also brighten silver jewellery with silver cleaning liquid. The liquid is available at jewelleries. Please notice! Cleaning liquid is not suitable for dyes jewellery. Follow instructions carefully when using cleaning liquid.

Mild soapy water is also used to clean gold jewellery. Gold can also be brightened with gold cleaning liquid, which is also available from jewelleries. Please notice! Cleaning solution is not suitable for pearls or all gemstones. Investigate before cleaning with liquid and follow the instructions carefully.

Jewellery can also be serviced regularly at jewellery stores.
